On July 11, 2021 by Coleen Lewis

Just bought a new Apple smartphone and want to transfer all your contacts, photos and apps from your old phone, but don’t know how? We can help you with that.

No matter what model of iPhone you bought, you’re probably thinking about transferring your data to your new gadget. When you transfer, you’ll have the same iPhone with all your files and apps, but at the same time it will be a new and nicer, more powerful device. It’s easier to do than you might think, and now we’re going to share some ways to do it with you.

How to transfer data using Quick Start:

Hold your iPhone next to your old phone (Don’t forget to turn on Bluetooth on your old device before doing so);
On the Quick Start screen of the old phone, set up the new device, click the “Continue” button;
Then bring the old phone to the new one to scan the animation;
After connecting the smartphone, you need to wait for the data and settings to transfer between the devices;
When prompted, you need to enter the password from the old iPhone on the new one, as well as the Apple ID password;
Choose whether you want to restore data from an iCloud backup, or back up from the old iPhone now, and further restore the information.

How to transfer data using iCloud:

  • Back up your data;
  • Turn on your new iPhone and follow the instructions, choosing your language, country, and Wi-Fi network;
  • Once you get to “Apps and Data,” click “Restore from iCloud backup.”;
  • Using your Apple ID, sign in to your account;
  • When prompted to select a backup, select the one you just created on your old smartphone;
  • Wait for the operation to transfer your data to be completed and follow the instructions next.

Conclusion

We hope this little instruction was useful for you and your new Apple smartphone is even more productive, because it stores all your contacts, photos, music and other, important for you, content.
