Resetting iPhone to factory settings: how to do it and what you need it for.
One way or another, after switching to the iPhone, the headache of frequent freezes and bugs has become much less frequent. But still, after installing new betas iOS 15, you may notice problems with the device, especially if it is a developer beta or the update did not go quite smoothly. In such cases, you need to make a rollback from the new beta to a stable version, or erase the settings of your iPhone.
Why you need to reset your iPhone:
Notice serious bugs in your iOS system.
Selling your used iPhone.
Giving your iPhone away to a family member.
Improperly updated iOS and iPhone began to hang.
Before wiping your iPhone, make a backup copy. It will not be superfluous, and if something suddenly goes wrong, or it turns out that the reset did not solve the problem, will quickly restore all the necessary files.
Resetting your iPhone to factory settings
Open Settings and go to Basic.
Scroll down and tap “Transfer or reset iPhone”.
Tap on “Erase” → “Continue”, enter the passcode.
Resetting iPhone is not always a “pill” for bugs and problems with iPhone. Therefore, you should not immediately run to erase all your data.
